
Tim is an information technology professional with over 27 years of experience helping
people with all kinds of technology and creative services.
Currently he spends most of his days helping people with their online goals by creating
websites, helping them get found and offering creative ways of promoting products and services.
He also gives numerous classes to help people learn to use there technology more
efficiently.
Tim is also a professional photographer and uses these skills as well as video to help
promote online businesses in exciting and creative ways.
Kurt Holobaugh, TPH Engineer
Upon completing High School from South Lake Tahoe High in 1977 Kurt attended Phoenix Inst
of Technology to obtain a degree in electronics and communications in1978, followed by 4 yeas of industrial
electronics experience working at Heavenly Valley and Kirkwood ski resorts. Kurt then gained a strong background in
communications and security systems as well as audio mixing for live venues while working for Harvey’s Casino
between 1982 and 1987.
In the 87’s Mr. Holobaugh returned to school to complete an A.S. degree in Computer and
Digital Technology from Cuesta college while working in the field engineering and manufacturing groups for
Teatronics Inc, a national reseller of hi end theater lighting systems. Teatronics provided a wealth of experience
in international and domestic travel and project management while installing million dollars systems in such places
as Whu Han City, China, Ponce Theater of Arts, Puerto Rico, and Universal Studios Ca.
In 1995 Kurt’s interests turned to the development software and information technology
systems, Internet audio/video and digital network systems to support digital video streaming being developed by
Xing Technology Corp, which was the very first company to introduce real time, MPEG 2 video streaming on the
internet. At the same time Kurt began attending Cal Poly University for a B.S. degree in Industrial
Technology & Management.
Between 1997 and 2000 Kurt worked as a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer for Rantec Power
Systems, honing his skills in engineering production and operations management related to the development of
military power supply products. In the fall 2000 Kurt became a principle project engineer with on of the
leading Audio File companies, PS Audio and went on to develop award winning products such as the PS500, equipment
power plant and the D1000 Class D power amp which were showcased by Stereophile magazine in 2002 and
2003.
More recent senior level project management experience between 2005 and 2009 includes four
years with Lockheed Martin’s ISGS, Integrated Solutions & Global Services group working on the modernization of
the range safety system, RSAII at Vandenberg Air Force Base as well as two year commitment at Pax River MD, working
on the Presidential Helicopter Program – VH71. During this time Kurt also completed the Engineering Masters,
Systems Engineering program from George Washington University.
Sierra Automation, owned and operated by Mr.Holobaugh currently provides systems
engineering consulting services for projects such as:
Triple Treat Terminator Missile termination safety system for L-3 Communications.
The design and installation of modern digital audio and video production studios.
Internet video streaming and digital video communications used for security and entertainment.
Production systems and product development for military or commercial products.
